Hazel Oak is a school for young people aged 4-19 yrs that supports moderate learning difficulties which includes Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, social, emotional and mental health, speech, language and communication difficulties, plus more complex and medical needs. Communication, wellbeing, life skills and the functional use of core skills are central to our curriculum, which is delivered in a challenged based, which brings real life into learning.
Staff are actively involved in the school’s development and have access to regular training, peer and wellbeing support. Hazel Oak is a supportive family team with a passion for progress, both in our pupils and our staff. Come and see what we can do to support your next challenge.

Yes - when in school. Enhanced DBS required. DBS checks carried out by Tudor Grange Teaching School. For visits to the school, no DBS is required as will be accompanied all the time.
