Uplands Primary School and Nursery

Uplands Primary School and Nursery is located in Sandhurst, Berkshire and is a lead school for the provision of School Direct primary teacher training in Bracknell Forest and surrounding areas.

We have worked with the University of Reading for a number of years now and regularly train between fifteen and twenty students each year on our training programme. Trainees can choose to apply for a qualification with QTS or PGCE with QTS; the programme takes one year to complete.

Uplands Primary School and Nursery is an outstanding school and we invite those considering a career in teaching to visit and undertake some work experience. We also have good relationships with other local primary providers and can often offer work experience with these schools too.
