Malpas Alport Endowed Primary School

Malpas Alport Endowed Primary School is a family centred school in the heart of the beautiful village of Malpas. Malpas sits within the county of Cheshire West and Chester and is close neighbours to Shropshire and Wales. Our nursery enables us to start children's journey with us at 2 years old and we welcome 45 children into our Reception classes each year. We have a wealth of experience within our staff and a supportive parent body.

We place the happiness and wellbeing of each individual learner at the forefront of our mission, as happy children learn effectively and we work closely with our families to ensure ambitious outcomes academically, socially and emotionally for every single pupil.

We develop pupil leadership and character education as central to our philosophy for developing children for their next phase in their education pathway, coupled with high standards of academic achievement.

About our school experience

• Details:

  Our school offers an ITT placement- onsite 4 days a week for a full academic year, with 1 day training via our provider Educate. There is an alternative key stage placement during the spring term and training from special school providers. You will be fully immersed in school life, have a wide range of opportunities and leave with an outstanding CV to seek employment. ; Our successful candidates will be placed in one class (but have experience in all year groups/ phases) where they will develop their relationships with children and adults and gain the huge rewards from seeing the children learn, grow and develop over the year. Our pedagogy, rooted in Rosenshine's Principles of Instruction will support the successful teacher through their year of on-the-job training. ; The ITT associate teacher will have the chance to shadow a subject leader, gaining skills and understanding of this role as well as developing their own styles and philosophies.
