Culcheth High School is a highly successful and over-subscribed community school in the heart of semi-rural Warrington. We are recognised as “a good school” by OFSTED with many outstanding features. About our school experience

Details

School experience at Culcheth High will provide you with the opportunity to experience all aspects of the school day. You will be able to observe a number of different teachers teaching lessons and will be given the chance to interact with students in the classroom and support them with classroom activities. You will be given some focused activities to do during your school experience days that will allow you to think about teaching and learning in a school environment.

Please note that due to the volume of school experience requests we are receiving, we are only to consider requests if your degree subjects covers at least 50% of the subject you wish to teach. Furthermore, we can only consider requests from candidates who are considering applying for one of our Schools Direct PGCE course.     • Must not have been accepted onto another teacher training course
    • Must have a degree
    • Their degree content must cover at least 50% of the subject they wish to teach.
