Yealmpstone Farm Primary School
Yealmpstone Farm Primary is a diverse school which has inclusion and ambition for all at its heart. We are very involved in international work and are currently part of several Erasmus projects with other European schools. We are proud of our curriculum which is themed around rich, high quality texts that link areas of learning together through small steps. www.yfps.net
We follow the Read, Write, Inc programme and White Rose Maths to ensure progression of skills across the school. We have a well developed music offer which enables children to learn a wide variety of instruments. We are platinum level for our PE offer and we have strength across all curriculum areas.
Our school is federated with the two nursery schools in Plymouth and we have recently launched the Early Years Southwest Stronger Practice Hubs which give us access to very high quality evidence based research about how to develop teaching and learning.

- Volunteers will work in a teacher assistant capacity supporting children through: observation of lessons; interacting with pupils in lessons, seeing how subjects are taught, learning about SEND and inclusion, learning more about the teacher training process.
