Archway School
Archway is an 11-18 mixed comprehensive school situated in Stroud, Gloucestershire with approximately 1000 students on roll. Archway was visited by a team of Ofsted inspectors in March 2022 and the school was graded “Good” in all five categories, with an overall effectiveness grade of “Good”. The inspectors recognised the significant progress that had been made in a number of areas since the previous inspection in 2018. The school prides itself on its inclusive attitude and green credentials.
Our last Ofsted inspection also recognised our growing sense of ambition, this is reflected in the improvement the school has made in recent years. Progress 8 figures continue to be on a steady upward curve and our Sixth Form has consistently shown positive value added.
