Pittville School
Pittville School is an 11-16 foundation school on the north edge of Cheltenham. We are a truly comprehensive school and proud to cater for the full range of academic ability. As a smaller than average school we really get to know our pupils and the strong relationships we build contribute to the friendly, supportive atmosphere around the school. We believe that all students, regardless of their ability or background, should be challenged and given the opportunities to achieve the best they can. We have really talented and dedicated teachers who are always willing to share their expertise and support others within the school and the wider teaching profession, but the best thing about our school is our amazing students and getting to share in their achievements.

Where possible we can tailor our school experience to your particular needs, but a typical day would include:
- Tour of the school
- Time with teachers in the subject area(s) you are interested in teaching
- Lesson observations in the subject area(s) you are interested in teaching
- Opportunities to interact with pupils during lessons if possible
- Opportunity to meet with the school Professional Lead to talk through Teacher Training routes
- Where possible opportunity to meet with current trainees or recently qualified (early career) teachers - Start and finish times

We prefer candidates to arrive at 8:20 as we have staff available to sign you in and collect you before the school day starts.

We are part of the GITEP (Gloucestershire Initial Teacher Education Partnership) SCITT offering QTS with PGCE through the University of Bristol.
We also offer placements with other local providers where we can support.
