Dartford Science & Technology College
Dartford Science and Technology College is a nurturing, engaging 11-18 school where students achieve well and flourish. DSTC is unique in Dartford as the only non-selective school for girls. We are a small school and pride ourselves on the excellent relationships between staff, students and parents.
Teachers know their students well; they identify and plan for their strengths and weaknesses so that they challenge students to be the best they can. There is a positive climate for learning with a culture of high aspiration throughout the school and plenty of opportunities for all our students to enjoy and excel in extra-curricular activities.
Our aim is to have inspiring education where we nurture success, underpinned with our tagline ‘Educating and Empowering Citizens of the Future’. This is evident in all aspects of DSTC school life, where students thrive in a well-supported environment.
DSTC values are supported by the Cooperative Trust whose aims of self-help, self-responsibility, democracy, equality, equity and solidarity resonate with the ambitions of us all at DSTC. We also aim to increase the support of girls moving into Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths careers to increase employment in these areas.
We look forward to meeting you
