Sheffield Springs Academy
Sheffield Springs Academy is a 'Good' non-selective academy in Sheffield with 1092 students from ages 11-16. As part of United Learning, our aim is to bring out the 'best in everyone' and we continuously strive to ensure that students and staff have every opportunity to do so.
Sheffield Springs Academy is proud to partner with United Teaching, an Ofsted 'Outstanding' teacher training programme. As a national provider, United Teaching's ambitious teacher training programme is driven by a research-informed curriculum preparing trainees for the demands of modern teaching. Our school visit experience is an invaluable taster opportunity to experience quality first teaching and learning in action.
With subject specialists, dedicated mentors, and top-rated wellbeing support, United teaching support trainees to make the teacher training journey one to remember with a fantastic support network, and nationally recognised professional qualifications so trainee teachers can enter the Early Career Teachers years with confidence. The United Teaching ITT supports trainees to develop their skills, knowledge and understanding to become the teachers of tomorrow and the education leaders of the future.

Join us for an immersive teaching experience at Sheffield Springs Academy. The day will include the following:
1. A tour of the school and experience a broad community of staff and students.
2. Lesson observations to gain insights into high expectations, classroom culture and different teaching techniques.
3. Opportunities to engage with students in classroom settings.
4. Opportunities to meet school leaders to gain invaluable insights into the ethos and culture of the school.
