- We are offering up to 5 consecutive days work experience at Dore Primary School. The programme would include some time getting to know the school; observation of lessons; and some activities that might help prepare you for applying to our Initial Teacher Training course. Mercia Learning Alliance offers aspiring teachers high quality training opportunities in primary and secondary schools. On our School Direct training programme you will shadow colleagues and learn about teaching in a range of schools across the city. The placements in our partner schools, many of which are outstanding, provide an invaluable insight into teaching as a profession, and your training will prepare you fully for a successful career in teaching.
We will offer support with recruitment and job applications and should a suitable vacancy arise in one of our network of schools, you may be fast-tracked to the interview stage.

Parking at Dore Primary is limited so we recommend parking on the road just outside of school. There are also regular bus services from the city centre that stop just down from school.
