About our school experience

• Details:

  Northampton School for Boys offers a one-day School Experience Programme to potential trainee teachers. For a small fee you have the opportunity to observe teaching and pastoral work (including where possible a range of different lessons and age groups being taught), and to talk to teachers and current trainee teachers about day-to-day life in our school. You will also learn about the application process for our teacher training programme.

  After your initial visit, additional days may be possible and your fee for this is refunded if a place is successfully gained on one of our ITT programmes. During these additional days, we will look to tailor your experience to meet any specific needs that you may have.

• Start and finish times: 8:45am to 2:30pm approximately - Flexible

  If you need to arrive later or leave earlier than the timings of the day please notify me when booking so I may accommodate you.
