About our school experience
In person school experience events:
Best suited for attendees who are quite sure they want to teach, but would like to get some in classroom experience as well as meet providers before considering an application. These events will run for a full school day and will include:
- Subject specific observations – we will clarify the subject you are interested in observing.
- Introduction to the Tudor Grange SCITT programme.
- A taster professional studies session
14:00 - 16:00 - "Taste of Teaching" aimed at attendees who are curious about teaching and want more information about what a career in teaching may look like for them. These remote sessions will also feature short sessions with teachers considering:
- career development
- a day in the life of a teacher
- what makes a great teacher
16:30 - 17:30 Open Evening:
Exploring the details of Tudor Grange's SCITT programme and discussing the practicalities of beginning an Initial Teacher Training year and what possible next steps may be. These events are best suited to attendees that are quite sure that they want to be teachers and need further information to enable them to choose the right provider.

09:00 to 15:30
For in person events, sessions will begin at 09:00 and end at 15:00.
For virtual events:
14:00 - 16:00 will be the "Taste of Teaching" session as explained in the event description box.
16:30 - 17:30 will be the open evening.
Attendees will be able to attend either both, or one of the sessions.
