Balcarras is a comprehensive school in Cheltenham. It is a secondary school with a large sixth form so we have pupils from age 11-18.
Balcarras believes in delivering outstanding education to pupils of all abilities. Education should be fun and engaging. We have a broad and balanced curriculum and recognise the importance of all subjects.

- For the school experience we offer observing lessons in your own and other subjects and across all age groups. You would also meet to find out what teacher training involves during the training year and then the early career framework. You would also get the opportunity to meet current or recently qualified teachers.

We are a School Direct school working with GITEP.

- Must have a degree
- Photo identification: passport or driving licence
- DBS check required

We offer in school experiences throughout the year.
We would not offer during the first two weeks in September and not the last week of each term i.e. Christmas/Easter/Summer
