About our school experience

• Details:

  Candidates will experience a range of activities and lessons including the following: observing lessons, supporting pupils in lessons, creating displays, shadowing a member of support staff to see a range of groups, meeting key staff (e.g. heads of subject, heads of year). ; For longer experiences candidates will have the chance to work with small groups and teach aspects of a lesson e.g. starter tasks.

• Start and finish times: 8.30 to 3.00 - Flexible

  We are able to alter start and finish times based on individual needs.

• Dress code:

  Business dress, Cover up tattoos, Remove piercings

  Appropriate footwear and natural hair colours

• Teacher training:

  We are the lead school for the Five Towns ITT Partnership offering primary and secondary places. We work with Leeds Beckett (primary and 11-16 secondary places) and the University of Huddersfield for 11-18 training places in a range of subjects.
