About our school experience
Candidates who visit the school will be able to observe lessons and talk with teachers about training to be a teacher at Barr Beacon School and with Barr Beacon SCITT.
School Experience placement days can be organised throughout the week after liaising with the department in school and the candidate requesting the experience day.

Yes - on site parking provided
Parking is available for the on-site visits in the visitor's car park of Barr Beacon School. This is on the corner of Beacon Road and Old Hall Lane. Once in the car park, please park in a designated bay as our school busses use this car park. There is an overflow car park underneath the visitor's car park.
