Barr Beacon School
At Barr Beacon School we have high expectations of our pupils from their conduct and behaviour in school and out in the community to the way that they wear their uniform with pride. Alongside this we expect them to work hard to achieve success while enacting the Beacon Values. We work hard to get the best for every single one of our pupils. Candidates who visit the school will be able to observe lessons and talk with teachers about training to be a teacher at Barr Beacon School and with Barr Beacon SCITT.
School Experience placement days can be organised throughout the week after liaising with the department in school and the candidate requesting the experience day.

- Must be applying to or have applied to our, or a partner school's, teacher training course
- Must not have been accepted onto another teacher training course
- Must have a degree
- Photo identification: For example, passport or driving licence.

Parking is available for the on-site visits in the visitor's car park of Barr Beacon School. This is on the corner of Beacon Road and Old Hall Lane. Once in the car park, please park in a designated bay as our school busses use this car park. There is an overflow car park underneath the visitor's car park.
