Crispin School Academy
The Mid Somerset Cconsortium (MSC) is a SCITT based at Crispin School in Street, Somerset, Kings Academy in Cheddar, and Nailsea School in Nailsea, and is part of the Wessex Learning Trust (WLT) family of schools; a successful and highly regarded MAT driven to transform lives. As a result, we have access to a wide range of Primary and Secondary schools across North Somerset, Somerset and North Dorset as part of a well-developed and pro-active partnership aiming to supply well qualified teachers into our schools. Leaders across the MSC and WLT are driven to create a supportive and encouraging partnership with trainees built on a foundation of care, support and guidance.
About our school experience

- Our school experience days will introduce you to different aspects of life as a teacher. The day will open with an introduction by key staff in the MSC and partnership schools, followed by observation lessons within the subject(s) you are interested in teaching. Lunch is provided for you and will give you an opportunity to network with others interested in teaching, subject teachers within the school and members of the Mid Somerset Consortium. Further observations will follow after lunch and the day will end with a session on routes into teaching and ways to apply.

The Mid Somerset Consortium runs from Crispin Academy in Street and works closely with our parntership schools across North Somerset, Somerset and North Dorset. Our aim is to bring the opportunity to train to teach to areas of the Southwest that are more remote.

£15.00 One-off, The fee can be paid by cask or bank transfer and details will be sent to you once you register.
The fee covers our administration costs in setting up and running the school experience events, including lunch.
