We are a large secondary comprehensive school with Post 16 provision. We have approximately 1500 students and are situated in South Elmsall near Pontefract.

At present this will be a virtual visit which will involve a virtual meeting to discuss the school and find out about our SCITT and ask questions about teacher training in general. If possible we will arrange a further virtual meeting with a member of the Curriculum Area you are interested in. We are unable to welcome you into the school itself at the moment.

We welcome any dates and would respond on a request-by-request basis. We close for the Easter holidays on the 12th April for two weeks. We also close for a week on the 24th May and finish for the summer holidays on 19th July.

Parking

This is a virtual visit. Should you need to come to school afterwards then please park in the red car park at the bottom end of the school site. You can then walk back up the main road to the main school reception. You will have been advised how to ask for via email prior to your visit.

Yes we are a hub school for the Yorkshire Three Counties Alliance SCITT.
