The Blue Coat School is the Lead School for the Manchester Nexus School Centred Initial Teacher Training Provider (SCITT).
Manchester Nexus SCITT exists for children and young people: improving their life chances, instilling the joy of learning, and nurturing their development and achievement. At the taster day you will observe lessons, meet our pupils, and spend time in classrooms. Meet previous trainees and early career teachers and get to ask them the questions you would like answering. We recommend Bradshaw Street Pay & Display car park, off Rock Street which is a very short distance from the school. Please note the car park accepts coins only, so please bring enough change and put in the amount for the full day as their won’t be an opportunity to return to your car.
