The role of a teacher is a highly complex one. School experience offers you the chance to find out about the roles and responsibilities of a teacher and to help you answer any questions you may have about the profession as a whole.
During the day you will have the opportunity to observe teaching and pastoral work and to talk to teachers and students about day to day life in a school.
You should get the chance to see a range of different lessons and age groups being taught, but if you have any specific requests, you can talk to us about accommodating these.
We will provide you with information on our teacher training programme and answer any questions you may have about the process.

Thamesmead SCITT is a secondary ITTT provider in North West Surrey and will be partnering with i2i Teaching Partnership covering schools across Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and West London.
Teacher training is fundamental to what we both do and our programme goes that extra mile, offering first class school led training leading to both QTS and PGCE, that will ensure you gain the knowledge and skills necessary to transform lives.
