St Bartholomew's School

About our school experience

Details

St Bart's is at the heart of the Newbury Community and has a long history, having preserved many of its traditions. The school has an established reputation for academic excellence and we are very proud of the results our students achieve year after year. A large vibrant sixth form offers a wide range of subjects and attracts students from around the area.

If you’d like to find out what being a teacher is all about, our school experience days are your opportunity to experience life in a busy secondary school.

You will see first hand how children learn and have the opportunity to talk to our trainees who have used the school direct route into teaching.

Day begins at 9am. The day will start with a tour of the school led by our students followed by time spent in lessons in your subject area. Lunch is provided. The day will finish at 3.30. Candidates are not required to have a DBS check
