Furze Platt Senior School
Teach Maidenhead is the foremost teacher training provider west of London, providing tuition fee and salaried secondary school direct places in a wide range of subjects. Founded in 2013, the partnership offers a unique school-based learning opportunity in conjunction with the University of Reading where intensive subject-based training is delivered. Trainees gain QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), and PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) as well as 60 credits towards a Masters Degree. We are a partnership of five schools: Furze Platt Senior School (founder and lead school), Cox Green School, Altwood Church of England School, Desborough College and Holyport College (free school). We are also linked to a number of primary schools and we have a specialist autism unit at Furze Platt Senior School.
