King's Academy Bay House
Bay House School and Sixth Form is an 11-18 mixed Academy located on Stokes Bay in Gosport, Hampshire. Bay House is a future-focused School; we are relentless in our ambition to enable the success of our learners and staff. Our aim at Bay House is that every learner makes better than expected progress, enjoys and engages in a rich, diverse and challenging learning experience. Our Sixth Form regularly outperforms all state schools and colleges in Hampshire, beating the national average.
Our initial teacher training (ITT) Team dedicates itself to supporting aspiring teachers who are looking to join the profession. We work in partnership with the Universities of Chichester, Portsmouth and Southampton by providing placements for those following the University-based PGCE route to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). We are also a School Direct lead school, working in partnership with the University of Winchester and the HISP Teaching School Hub, supporting newly qualified teachers through their Early Career Phase.
