About our school experience
- Details
-
A valuable opportunity for individuals considering a career in teaching to gain insight into the profession. Through time spent in a school environment, participants will be able to observe effective classroom practice, speak with experienced teachers, and learn more about the training routes available through the Bluecoat SCITT Alliance.
Our teaching taster sessions are designed to support those who are either exploring the idea of becoming a teacher or actively seeking a pathway into the profession, by allowing the chance to ask questions and take informed steps towards a rewarding career in teaching.
Please note: While we welcome participants with an interest in all subjects, lesson drop-ins are arranged in partnership with placement schools and are subject to their availability and timetabling. We will always do our best to provide a range of observation opportunities; however, we cannot guarantee drop-ins within specific subject areas.
