The day will provide you with an invaluable insight into what teaching is like through observation of lessons, meeting experienced teachers, finding out more about safeguarding, pupil progress, pastoral support and the Leicester & Leicestershire SCITT training programme along with the application process.
No DBS is required for a day in school.

We are Leicester and Leicestershire SCITT who are an accredited provider of teacher training in schools. The aim of school experience visit is to support and enhance any application for teaching training.

Entry requirements
You must:
- Must not have been accepted onto another teacher training course
- Must have a degree
- Photo identification: Photo ID will be required for all delegates, even where a new DBS check is not needed.
- DBS check required
