Pluckley Church of England Primary School
Pluckley Church of England Primary School is a partner school of The Kemnal Academies Trust (TKAT) School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT).
TKAT SCITT is a highly successful school-based teacher training programme offering secondary (age 11-16) and primary (age 5-11) training leading to QTS and PGCE. TKAT SCITT was judged Good in all aspects by Ofsted in June 2014.
Candidates must hold a degree of a UK higher education institution or equivalent qualification and will need to demonstrate GCSE grade C or 4 (or standard equivalent) in mathematics and English.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
Candidates are asked to bring a current DBS (if held) and their passport as a form of ID. TKAT SCITT offer a one day's school experience and candidates will be escorted at all times whilst on the school premises.
Candidates will receive further details about their visit up to one week prior to the day.

- Our half day school experience offers candidates an opportunity to observe a lesson, speak with the teacher(s) and our current/previous TKAT SCITT trainee(s) (where possible) to find out if teaching is for them. Candidates will not be required to teach.
