About our school experience

- Experience teaching Primary and Secondary in a special needs setting with pupils in Primary (yr 5/6) Secondary Education (through to post 16 age 19). This will be with a view to you training via School Direct with us. If you already have a place on a School Direct course with another training provider then no experience will be given. There will be a small payment of £20 for your first days experience. This will include lunch. Any other visits after this will be free of charge.

Placement availability
We usually offer school experience 2nd week of a half term right through until the end of the half term except at Christmas time we tend to have our last week for school experience being the first week in December. We offer different days for different subjects:
Tuesday Secondary English
Wednesday Secondary Science, Computer Science and Primary
Thursday Secondary Maths and History
Friday Secondary Art and Design
These days are not set in stone. If you cannot make a particular day contact us and we can arrange something that suits you.
