School profile

Becket Keys Church of England Free School

Becket Keys Church of England School is a Church of England School in the centre of Brentwood.

It is a high performing school with strong academic outcomes.

There is a strong focus on character education and courageous advocacy as part of our Christian ethos.

Teachers love working here and appreciate the support they have from each other.

Students conduct themselves well showing respect and responsibility.

Staff are expected to model the Christian values of the school and most share the faith of the school. However this is not compulsory.

This is a place for teachers who enjoy teaching their subject and also love working with young people.

Our motto is ‘Faith in Learning’ which means we have faith in the idea that learning opens doors for our students. We also bring our faith into the learning of the school.

We are proud to still have the founder of the school as our head teacher. Andy Scott-Evans has been here since the school opened in 2012. It was his original idea to start the school in 2010.

We hope you will come and take a look at our school soon.
