King Ecgbert School
Mercia Learning Alliance was formed by the Ofsted Outstanding Teaching School and World Class School King Ecgbert School in South West Sheffield at the border of the Peak District. We are an 11-18 fully comprehensive school and are very proud of our inclusive values, our socially and ethnically mixed intake and our drive to enable all young people to reach their full potential through excellent teaching, high aspiration and nurturing pastoral support. Our students make excellent progress, far beyond national averages, and this is due to the commitment and skill of our teaching and talented support staff along with a genuine desire from the student body to work hard and achieve. We have a nationally renowned Integrated Resource for students with autism spectrum disorder, adding an extra dimension to the experience we can offer to your training.
