Tudor Grange Primary Academy St James aims to provide a happy and safe environment, where all children are given the opportunity to flourish and make a valuable contribution to the academy and the wider community.

It is a priority of the Trust to train and develop the next generation of teachers; Tudor Grange Primary Academy St James has a team of highly effective supporting staff and mentors who are able to offer placements for trainees from the ITT programme.

In person 'Taste of Teaching Tours':
08:45-11:30
Best suited for attendees who would like to get a feel for the school environment as well as meet providers before considering an application. These events will take place during the morning and will include:
- A tour of the school with one of our teacher training leads
-An opportunity to see teachers in action in the classroom
-An opportunity to ask questions about the role of a teacher

17:30 - 18:30
For those beginning to explore teaching, these will give you an idea of what a career in teaching might look like for you. It will consider:
- Why teach?
- A day in the life of a teacher
- Making sense of training options
- Applications and next steps - Start and finish times

For in person events, sessions will begin at 08:45 and end at 11:30.
Online events will run in the evening 17:30-18.30.
