Tudor Grange Primary Academy, St James
Tudor Grange Primary Academy St James aims to provide a happy and safe environment, where all children are given the opportunity to flourish and make a valuable contribution to the academy and the wider community.

As part of Tudor Grange Academies Trust, all staff are able to take advantage of wide-ranging, expert professional development opportunities throughout their career. It is a priority of the Trust to train and develop the next generation of teachers; Tudor Grange Primary Academy St James has a team of highly effective supporting staff and mentors who are able to offer placements for trainees from the ITT programme.

In person school experience events:
08:30-12:00Best suited for attendees who are quite sure they want to teach, but would like to get some in classroom experience as well as meet providers before considering an application. These events will run for a full morning and will include:
- Classroom observations across key stage 1 and key stage 2
- An insight into the role of a teacher
- Introduction to the Tudor Grange Teacher Training programme.Online information events
17:00 - 18:00 Information Evening:
For those beginning to explore teaching, these will give you an idea of what a career in teaching might look like for you. It will consider:
- a day in the life of a teacher
- what makes a great teacher
- career developmentIt will also provide the opportunity to consider the details of Tudor Grange's ITT programme and discuss the practicalities of beginning an initial teacher training year and what possible next steps may be.

Online events will run in the evening 17:00-18.00.

Tudor Grange ITT is a well established Initial Teacher Training provider based at Tudor Grange Academy Solihull. We are excited to be a delivery partner for Teach First SCITT.
