Worthing High School
The educational aims of Worthing High School are based on the strong fundamental principle that the education for each student is of equal value. Our shared vision is to challenge children at every opportunity; to be curious, independent, resilient, kind and most importantly, academically inspired.
Our school seeks to achieve these aims through its provision for the academic, personal and social development of all our students. I hope you are excited and inspired by what you learn about Worthing High School. The school is on a fantastic journey, growing year on year. Our environment and staff are dedicated to achieving the very best outcomes for your child.
Worthing High School is a supportive place to train to enter the teaching profession. We offer the SCITT programme through GLF in a range of subjects. Our training is of a high standard and is very demanding, but also offers a lot of support to individual trainees. We do this through the support of our highly trained team of induction tutors, mentors, school leaders and fellow professionals. Teacher training is hard work, but is also fun and deeply rewarding due to the opportunity to work with highly engaged and well behaved students.
