The Holgate Academy
At Holgate we support our young people, so they enjoy their time at the academy and play a key part in all that academy life has to offer. The aim of the school experience days are to provide information on the routes into teaching and answer any individual questions on the teacher training process. All school experience days include a session led by our experts on the routes into teaching.
From the routes into teaching session you will gain information on the ITE application process, the interview process, what to do to gain experience, finance and bursaries.
It is also a great opportunity for you to observe teaching and learning in a range of classes, and where possible to meet newly qualified teachers and student teachers. We hope to give you a rounded experience of a full school day and look forward to meeting you!

- They must live within 20 miles of the school
