Shaw Ridge Primary School
We are a 2 form entry primary school with a 24 place nursery catering for 3 & 4 year olds situated in the heart of West Swindon.
At Shaw Ridge we benefit from superb teaching facilities and extensive outdoor spaces which enhance the learning we offer. We believe the children benefit from outdoor learning to enrich their learning. To that end, every class benefit from its very own outdoor area accessible directly from the classroom. Our ‘Unity Garden’ houses a pond, vegetable plot, wildlife area, orchard, flowerbeds and our very own 'Beach'. Our wonderful ‘Friends of Shaw Ridge’ help us to maintain this area. We also have an extensive field, outdoor gym and running track to the rear of the site.
We strive to provide a broad and balanced curriculum which excites and engages our pupils.
