The Ruth Gorse Academy
The Ruth Gorse Academy strives to provide inspirational education for all students irrespective of their background or experience. Through exposure to outstanding teaching, the expectation of impeccable behaviour, and a consistent focus on building resilience; we aim to prepare all students with the skills and characteristics required to thrive personally, professionally and within society. This was recognised by Ofsted who graded the academy as Outstanding in October 2023.

You have the initial option of spending the day in one of our trust schools or a partnership school. We can extend our offer and arrange a second day in a different phase if you are undecided between ITT in Primary or Secondary.
You will always be escorted during your school experience, so we do not require to see a DBS.
You do however need to either already hold a degree, ideally with a classification of a 2:2 or above, or be in your second or third year of your studies. - Start and finish times

- Must not have been accepted onto another teacher training course
- Must have a degree
- Photo identification: Passport or driving licence
- Please contact us regarding any relation to a student at our schools prior to booking.
