St Philip's CofE Primary School
St Phillip’s’ Primary Academy is located in Girlington, and is proudly involved with the local community and parish, as well as the Local Achievement Partnership. Working in close association with St. Phillip’s Church, this school strives to offer its pupils an encouraging, motivating and exciting environment in which to learn, perfectly reflected in its bright, welcoming classrooms.
The staff and teachers at St. Phillip’s also make it a badge of honour to work closely with the families of their pupils, in order to help them achieve the best possible outcome for their studies. The children are taught to maintain good standards of attendance, punctuality and academic performance, values which will ultimately help them later in life as well as shape them into valuable members of their community.
In March 2015, the staff and teachers at St Phillip’s Primary saw their efforts rewarded when they picked up the award for Most Improved School at the Bradford Telegraph & Argus Bradford District School Awards.
