Wednesfield Academy
At Wednesfield Academy we are committed to ensuring all pupils meet their full potential.
Wednesfield Academy believes school should be a thriving and highly successful learning community for all pupils and a place of high academic achievement and exemplary pupil support. To enable this to happen, there must be a partnership between pupils, parents and staff at the school.
Our house system and school ethos are there to create a sense of belonging in the school community and allowing pupils to enjoy their learning. We want pupils to leave Wednesfield Academy with the skills and experiences to take the next step in their lives.
We also want our pupils to be proud members of the community they are from and treat others with respect and kindness.
Wednesfield Academy is a proud partner of Barr Beacon SCITT - a highly successful and ambitious School Centred Initial Teacher Training programme working with over 50 schools to offer primary and secondary training. Last year, 96% of BBSCITT's trainees successfully gained a position as an ECT, of which 76% were within the SCITT partnership.
In attending one of our school experience days, it is expected that you are currently considering applying to our SCITT.
