- Shadowing experienced teachers to understand daily routines, planning, and behaviour management strategies
- Opportunities to interact with pupils, supporting small group activities or classroom discussions
- A tour of the school, giving you a sense of our ethos, facilities, and community
- A dedicated session on the teacher training process, including routes into teaching, application advice, and Q&A with current trainees or early career teachers
- Time for reflection and discussion, helping you process what you've observed and ask any questions

Turing House Teaching Alliance is a group of local secondary schools led by Turing House School. The Alliance offers an outstanding place to work and learn and provides a supportive and tailored learning opportunity in partnership with our partner university. The Alliance is pleased to be offering Lead Partner route PGCE training (unsalaried) courses for September 2026 as lead partners in association with St Mary's University College.
