The Bromley-Pensnett Primary School
Based in Brierley Hill, The Bromley-Pensnett Primary school is a 3-11 mixed primary school and are proud members of drb Ignite Trust. We are comprised of 12 schools across Dudley, Stourbridge and throughout Birmingham.
The children in our schools come from some of the most deprived areas of the UK and have experienced some real challenges in their lives. For this reason, the leaders in our schools are passionate about improving the life chances for every one of these children and they understand that this starts in the first place with training and recruiting the very best teachers.

The school experience is provided through Bishop Challoner Training School and its Alliance of Schools across the Midlands, BCTSA.
Our SCITT offers a wide variety of programmes - Primary (3-7 and 5-11), Primary with Maths, Primary with PE, Primary with SEND - and a full range of secondary subjects. We offer a choice of full-time and part-time programmes, QTS plus PGCE and QTS only.
We have many years of experience in delivering teacher training, with strong pass rates and levels of employment post-training, the majority in schools in our Alliance.

* routes into teaching
* programmes offered by BCTSA
* when possible, the chance to talk to a current trainee or ECT and ask them questions on what it's really like to train to teach with BCTSA

As a Trust, we are able to provide a welcoming and inclusive route into teaching for candidates with disabilities and other needs. The caring, nurturing focus of our mentors and trainers aims to look after those who are keen to progress through the programme and become classroom teachers.
