In the first instance, we offer candidates the opportunity to attend one of our school experience taster days which we run throughout the year.
The day consists of observing good teaching practice during normal lessons and the opportunity to interact with pupils. We will accommodate requests of experience in specific year groups wherever possible. During your visit, you will receive a guided tour of the school and attend a short presentation where you will be able to ask any questions you have about teaching and our teacher training courses.

We are part of a community of schools and organisations called Prestolee Multi Academy Trust, which includes an Ofsted outstanding SCITT delivering Initial Teacher Training.
There are 3 main training hubs in Bolton, Merseyside and Oldham/Yorkshire with placement schools available across the North West.
