Bowness Primary School
Bowness is well known for its warm and welcoming ethos and the leadership team are proud of the family atmosphere that you can feel as you walk around the school. At Bowness they believe that every staff member, pupil and parent should be "Aiming High" in everything they do. This is encouraged through positive relationships, inspirational teaching and high quality curriculum offer.
About our school experience
In the first instance, we offer candidates the opportunity to attend one of our school experience taster days which we run throughout the year.
The day consists of observing good teaching practice during normal lessons and the opportunity to interact with pupils. We will accommodate requests of experience in specific year groups wherever possible. During your visit, you will receive a guided tour of the school and attend a short presentation where you will be able to ask any questions you have about teaching and our teacher training courses.
