Lightwater Village Junior School
Lightwater Village Infant and Junior School have historically been separate schools however in more recent years, we have embarked on an exciting new journey for the school where the leadership team lead the two schools as one, serving the same community. Although our schools remain two separate schools, we function as an all through primary school experience for your child.
We offer an exciting and engaging curriculum across all subjects, including the arts, humanities, and sport.The exceptional facilities at the school enhance this offer and provide children with opportunities to learn using a dedicated music room, Computing suite, podcasting studio, and food technology room at our Junior site.
Staff are supportive, kind, and welcoming, Lightwater Village School is a place where children are seen, understood and cared for throughout their journey with us. This is a school where parents get to know all the staff and feel part of the community from the start.
We have superb outdoor facilities within our school grounds which helps to shape and guide our curriculum, providing numerous opportunities for our children to grow, learn, and flourish.

We get to know each trainee and offer excellent pastoral support throughout your journey to becoming a teacher. Our diverse cohort of present and past trainees are always on hand for peer support and advice.
At GLF Teacher Training the support we offer starts from the day you first make an enquiry. Our team will guide you through the application process, arrange school experience for you in a school local to your home and provide support with any finance queries you may have. We strongly recommend coming along to one of our face-to-face information events to meet us in person and to ask any questions you might have
