Worksop Priory Church of England Primary Academy
Since its opening, Priory Academy has always enjoyed a close partnership with the Priory Church. Indeed I count us as most fortunate having such a dedicated, supportive and hard working Governing Body, many of whom are members of the Priory Church congregation.
Our aim at Priory is to try to ensure all children enjoy their learning and achieve their individual potential. To this end, staff maintain high expectations of pupils at all times and all aspects of the Every Child Matters Agenda are at the forefront of our thinking and fully integrated into the Academy’s curriculum planning. The curriculum is both challenging and exciting with a great many enhanced learning opportunities in the form of hands on experiences, visits and visitors to enrich the children’s understanding and broaden their knowledge.
Over the years there have been a number of additions and alterations to the building all of which are designed to make it an improved teaching and learning environment for our pupils.
