School profile

Stowupland High School

We are an 11-18 secondary school, in the beautiful Suffolk countryside. Our vision is to provide young people with a high quality academic curriculum to help them fulfil their potential. We set great store by academic outcomes, extra-curricular opportunities and developing a strong sense of personal responsibility. We have embedded routines to improve student behaviour and maximise learning time. Our staff and students are warm, welcoming and friendly. We have a culture of genuine mutual respect.

About our school experience

We enable candidates to have a full and immersive experience of the school. You will see a range of year groups being taught in your subject, and get a sense of how we have embedded routines such as SLANT, SHAPE and STEPS.
We encourage candidates to experience our start and end of day routines, which are well drilled and help us to greet each student every day.
You will be able to meet with our ECT and training coordinator, and a range of other staff who can support and advise on your teaching journey. We would be delighted to meet you.
