Rossett Acre is a large, successful two-form entry primary school on the south side of Harrogate.

Our vision is Excellence and happiness for all; treating everyone with respect and with kindness is extremely important to us.

We are a friendly, vibrant and welcoming school which embraces newcomers and we recognise the importance of our school within the community; we focus on purposeful learning which encourages our children to be independent, inquisitive and enterprising, preparing them for life now and in the future.

About our school experience

  ; The school experience days are organised by Red Kite Teacher Training and are designed for those intending to apply to a teacher training course. We therefore ask that you are eligible to apply to Red Kite Teacher Training https://redkiteteachertraining.co.uk

  We offer a bespoke timetable per candidate based on the subject they are interested in teaching. Candidates will have the opportunity to observe different teaching styles and interact with pupils if appropriate.

• Start and finish times: 8:15 to 3:30
• Dress code:

  Business dress, Cover up tattoos, Remove piercings

• Teacher training:

  Red Kite Teacher Training offers school based routes into teaching through a partnership of Primary, Secondary and Special Schools based in and around Leeds, Harrogate and Skipton. Our excellent Initial Teacher Training programmes are tailored to individual needs and aspirations. Whether you are a recent graduate, or you are considering a change of career, our courses will give you the best foundation for a great career in teaching.
