Mulberry School for Girls
Mulberry School for Girls is an OFSTED Outstanding 11-18 school located in Whitechapel (Last inspection was April 2024). We are the lead school of Mulberry Schools Trust, a flourishing collaboration of primary and secondary schools including a University Technical College. We are committed to delivering the highest quality of education.

The Mulberry Schools Trust supports career progression at all stages of your career. In addition to our work in Initial Teacher Training, our Teaching School Hub leads the Early Career Teacher professional learning programme for the region (our lead partner UCL was recently rated Outstanding for this programme) and we also offer the full suite of National Professional Qualifications for teachers and leaders. The Trust also provides bespoke professional learning opportunities to help all staff thrive.

• Meeting with relevant subject specialists.
• Meeting with a member of our professional learning leadership team who can answer any questions you have about training to teach.Your visit may involve visiting a second school within the trust to provide you with a richer experience of our school community.

Mulberry School for Girls and the Mulberry Schools Trust offers a range of ITT routes
1. Mulberry College of Teaching (MCoT) is the Mulberry Schools Trust’s accredited ITE provider, specializing in Secondary English. This is a postgraduate fee-funded route which awards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
2. Our schools partner with a number of local ITT providers who offer postgraduate fee-funded routes which award QTS and a PGCE to offer school placements in other subjects. Participants apply directly to the provider who decide on your school placement locations.
3. Occasionally, our schools will offer salaried teacher training opportunities.
