At Meridian High School, we believe that only exceptional is acceptable for our students, our parents and carers and our community.
We are not like other schools. We have carefully constructed every facet of our school so that all students are able to present the best version of themselves. Education means more to us than academic outcomes. We believe that we have a responsibility to offer every child an opportunity so that school is somewhere they are challenged, they learn, and they can achieve.
Meridian High School has been on a rapid journey of school improvement since 2020, one that our team is incredibly proud of. As the only GOOD (Ofsted 2023) school serving the New Addington community we are privileged to work with and for our students. We are a school centred around learning and we recognise that learning is different for every child. Whilst all our children have access to a deliberately designed, challenging curriculum model and well structured, knowledge rich lessons, we are enormously proud of our award winning personalised, inclusive approach. We ensure every child has the support and learning tools they need to experience success.

All of our placement schools have significant experience in delivering Initial Teacher Training and are able to provide you with a consistently high quality settings throughout your training programme.
There are often opportunities for successful trainees to go on and work within their host school, or group of schools, following a successful training year, subject to schools' recruitment and selection processes.
