About our school experience

Details

When you arrive at Brune Park you will need to report to the main school reception, where an ID check will take place (against the ID you have sent over electronically (part of our safeguarding procedure). We operate a cashless catering system so please bring lunch and any other refreshments you wish for the day. You will be escorted to the subject area you are visiting for the day and either be introduced to your host or left with the class teacher. You will spend the rest of the day (8.45am-3.10pm) observing or interacting with lessons. Along with your timetable for the day, an optional proforma will be provided to record observations, thoughts and reflections during the lessons. Morning break and lunch break will be spent within the department, where you will have the opportunity to ask questions of subject-specific teachers.
You will be escorted back to the main reception at the end of the day. You will receive a follow up email. Should you wish to arrange any further visits then this can be discussed. We hope you enjoy your visit.
