Wainwright Primary Academy
Situated in a diverse community in Mansfield, the academy has a long history since first opening its doors in 1953 to children in the local area.
At Wainwright, we create an inclusive culture of learning, where all children are challenged in their thinking, achieve to the best of their abilities and strive to become life-long learners. We work tirelessly to empower our children to become respected citizens and enable them to make valuable contributions locally, globally and to contribute to our world’s sustainable future.
Through a stimulating, challenging and exciting curriculum we provide all pupils with a high standard of education based upon developing knowledge, skills and independence. Great importance is placed on the safety and happiness of all our pupils – we believe their school experience should truly be the best experience of their lives.
The future for all pupils who attend Wainwright Primary is bright, and we want our children to aspire to be the very best that they can be – together we will support them in reaching for these goals.
About our school experience
- Details
-
The aim of the school experience days are to provide information on the routes into teaching and answer any individual questions on the teacher training process. All school experience days include a session led by our experts on the routes into teaching.
From the routes into teaching session you will gain information on the ITE application process, the interview process, what to do to gain experience, finance and bursaries.
It is also a great opportunity for you to observe teaching and learning in a range of classes, and where possible to meet newly qualified teachers and student teachers. We hope to give you a rounded experience of a full school day and look forward to meeting you!
