Queen Elizabeth's Academy
At Queen Elizabeth’s Academy we are ambitious for our students. Having recently been graded a GOOD school by Ofsted, our vision for students is that we want them to be able to read and understand scholarly articles, broadsheet newspapers and be able to interact in debates in the subjects that we teach by the time they leave the academy. This is why our key stage 3 is the full three years.
We want students to have the basic the knowledge they need in all areas before any narrowing of the curriculum through option choices at key stage 4 and 5. The curriculum also reflects our Christian ethos and vision statement.
About our school experience
- Details
-
The aim of the school experience days are to provide information on the routes into teaching and answer any individual questions on the teacher training process. All school experience days include a session on the routes into teaching we can offer.
From the routes into teaching session you will gain information on the ITE application process, the interview process, what to do to gain experience, finance and bursaries.
It is also a great opportunity for you to observe teaching and learning in a range of classes, and where possible to meet newly qualified teachers and student teachers. We hope to give you a rounded experience of a full school day and look forward to meeting you!
