Co-op Academy Failsworth
The central focus at Co-op Academy Failsworth is the achievement of our pupils. This is not solely defined by academic standards as we recognise that achievement will take many forms depending on the individual potential, interests and talents of each young person. We want all pupils to fulfil their ambitions whether they be academic, musical, sporting or creative. We believe a rich and varied curriculum is important to shaping a young person’s potential.
We are very proud of being part of the Co-op Academies Trust and we feel the strong co-operative ethos this provides is a perfect fit for our Academy. We have adopted the Co-op ways of being as a guide for life in the Academy.
Co-op Academies Trust School Direct ITT aims to produce high-quality and highly employable teachers; deliver high-quality, innovative, research-led practice; develop reflective and responsive practitioners who maintain and practice these approaches over time; foster practice which promotes high-quality outcomes for learners and ensure a supportive and nurturing environment which will allow trainees to flourish.
Work with us to best shape the lives of our young people through our Primary and Secondary Teacher Training courses.
