The environment has been carefully thought out to enable a calm and purposeful working atmosphere. Beautiful displays celebrate children's achievements and promote our high standards. Children can attend the school from the age of 2. Our excellent EYFS provision provides firm foundations for the children and supports parental trust and engagement from the start of a child's school journey. Pastoral support for children and parents is a further strength of the school.
We have a well established and experienced staff team who embrace challenge and show huge levels of support for one another. Staff retention is high and a good number of our team have worked at the school for many years.
Robert Mellors Primary academy is part of the Redhill Multi Academy Trust. We work closely with the other schools (primary and secondary) within the Trust to access and provide CPD and school support.

We are happy to provide experience to suit the requirements of individuals. School experience candidates are encouraged to immerse themselves in school life to get a real 'feel' for the rewards and challenges of working in a busy primary school. Candidates would be expected to engage and interact with the children whilst observing teaching and learning.
