Kingsdown School
Kingsdown is a mixed 11–16 Secondary School located in Stratton St Margaret, Swindon. It offers a vibrant learning environment, one in which its students take great pride in both their learning, their behaviour and their individual aspirations.
Our teachers combine a high level of academic expertise with excellent teaching skills and have both a real/deep concern for the wellbeing of each and every student. We have a clear strategy for this and thereby achieve our vision of becoming a "School of Excellence " which champions each and every student.

08:30-09:30: Arrival and Welcome
09:30 - 10:00: Discussion with a variety of KDS students
10:00-10:45: Observations in classes of various subjects and age groups
10:45-11:05: Observe break and social time
11:05-12:05: Observations in classes of various subjects and age groups
12:05 - 13:05: Reflections on classroom experiences lessons
13:05 - 13:45: Lunch with ECT1s and other colleagues
13:45 - 14:30: Q and A, signposting to SCITT events
14:30-14:45: Evaluation, final Q&A and end of school experience day - Start and finish times

There is usually space available in the staff car park for anyone who visits us. However, if you arrive and find there isn't a space, please park in our Sports' Centre, which is a 30 second drive down the road.
